The program is open exclusively to Saudi nationals and residents aged 14 to 17 who have a strong interest in space exploration, STEM subjects, and leadership.

Yes, the program will be conducted in English.

Yes, there is a non-refundable application fee of 375 SAR to cover administrative costs which includes the assessment of your submissions. This fee cannot be refunded under any circumstances, including if you are disqualified due to age or language requirements.

The program may take place during the school term. If selected, it’s important to check with your school to ensure you have permission to miss one week of classes. Once accepted, you will receive an official letter from KAUST and Starlight Education to present to your school for approval.

Participants will learn critical skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, leadership, critical thinking, and sustainability. You’ll also gain hands-on experience with space technologies and STEM applications in real-world scenarios.

If your team is one of the top 3 winners at a regional event, you and your mentor will be flown to KAUST to compete in the national finals for the title of Saudi Space Champions. Travel and accommodation will be provided.

If media or news outlets cover the event, both Starlight Education and the Client will need to be mentioned as official providers. Any media coverage or interviews will need to include both parties, and they should be contacted for quotes when relevant.

Unfortunately, the application fee is non-refundable, even if you are unable to attend the program for any reason.

Yes, participants selected from regional events will be required to travel to KAUST for the national finals. Travel and accommodation costs will be covered by the organizers for both students and their mentors.
